About Lisa
Founder of Wellness Reshaped and Advocate for Holistic Health
Lisa C. Williams is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach and a veteran commissioned officer of the United States military. Her unique approach to wellness integrates the physical, mental, emotional, financial, and relational aspects of health, setting her apart in the field. As the founder of Wellness Reshaped, Lisa empowers individuals through personalized coaching that fosters balanced and sustainable well-being.
Lisa led the "I AM Rachel Campaign," catalyzing the enactment of Rachel's Law in Georgia—a landmark safe harbor law that protects child survivors of human trafficking. Signed into law by Governor Nathan Deal on May 5, 2015, following overwhelming voter approval, this pivotal legislation decriminalizes victims and establishes ongoing funding for their support and overall well-being, demonstrating the broad community impact and significant change driven by Lisa's advocacy.
Lisa’s unwavering commitment to social justice has led her to guide over 1,000 survivors of human trafficking and their families, providing the tools and support needed to reclaim their health and autonomy. Her work has garnered recognition from prestigious organizations, including the FBI, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Marshals Service, the National Conference on Health Disparities, and media outlets such as L'Oreal Paris, Glamour, Women's Day, Essence Magazine, and CNN. Her holistic methods not only empower clients to lead lives of resilience, purpose, and fulfillment but also inspire others to join in the fight for social justice.
Internationally, Lisa has significantly expanded her influence as the inaugural chair of the International Survivors of Trafficking Advisory Council (ISTAC) for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). She promoted a survivor-led, human rights, and health and wellness-based approach to combating human trafficking globally, offering hope through trauma-informed collaborative support that addresses the whole person beyond survivorship.
In the realm of philanthropy, Lisa demonstrates her commitment through significant scholarship endowments and the creation of the Lisa C. Williams Listening Room at The Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground at Boston University. These initiatives not only enhance educational accessibility but also address health disparities, particularly among Black women, aligning with her mission to support holistic health and personal advancement.
Lisa’s visionary leadership not only paves the way for inclusive health and wellness practices but also builds a foundation of equity and respect, ensuring that every individual feels empowered, valued, and connected within their community.
